I walked for about half an hour in socks on rough ground because I'm that brilliant. I now have blisters and they hurt. Do I pierce them and drain them or let them be and just wait it out?? I need to walk around very soon, with little pain. What method would be best?

Do not pierce them, this can not only be painful but also lead to infection. Normally, they will pop on their own with time. Soak your feet in lukewarm water and add some epson salt. This will help dry them up. Stay off of them for as long as possible to allow them to heal.
Leave them alone if you can, and try to stay off your feet a while. Your soles will be a lot tougher when they heal. Why were you wearing socks instead of just going barefoot?
Piercing them will sting really badly as they drain. It is best to let them dry up without piercing, but you can soak your feet in lukewarm water & add epsom salts. Just dab to towel dry & try to keep loose footwear on if needed & soft/terry socks. These usually dry up fast as long as they are cared for.
leave em, itll hurt but theyll go away without you even feeling the pop if there even will be one
The ONLY time you should ever drain a blister is when it hurts. Other than that, just leave it alone. Piericing may lead to infections even if you did with a clean skin and sterlized needle.
If you must peirce it, sterilize a needle through a stove fire, not a match. Matches have chemicals in them that would cause infections to the blister. Sterilize your blister also. Use the needle and poke it from the SIDE of the blister and slowly drain the blister from the side. Clean the blister when youre done draining it and let it air dry. Covering it with a band aid prevents air from going to the blister and having it heal.
