What kind of socks to wear with boots?

I have a pair of doc martin boots I have bought recently. I wore just regular socks with them. One day I was walking around with my girl wearing them and the heels of my feet started rubbing up against the inside of the boot. It caused bleeding and blisters. It was very unpleasant. Can anyone recommend what type of socks I should wear, so that this can't happen again, or what else can I do to prevent this from happening again?

  1. Wear thicker cotton socks. You could put moleskin in your boots where you get blisters. You can get a sheet of moleskin at any drug store.

  2. I don’t think it’s the socks…I think you just haven’t worn in the shoes…try getting some of those pads to go in the heels of your shoes. they sell them at target and all shoe stores…or put a band aid on your blisters

Unless the socks you wore were really thin then you would have to get thicker socks..or wear two pairs
