I am thinking about getting a pair of Trekking Nordic poles but want to know if they are actually worth getting. I have wasted money on other exercise things in the past and don't want to waste money again. Anyone out there have any insight on these and if so, what is the best kind to get?

I love my trekking poles!I got them because I have bad knees and I really like them.I live in Kentucky and do a lot of hiking in the cooler months. As far as getting them just to lose weight,I dont think it was the poles that helped my weight loss,Im sure it was hiking my lazy rearend up in the hills that did it.Anyway,Mine are called guide gear trekking poles and I got them for about 30 dollars off of amazon.com.
