You don't have to climb hundreds of feet to see some great views, the lakes has many fantastic waterfalls that you can explore. For example a walk to Aira Force is a great half day out and as far as I am concerned still comes under the category of fell walking. The video is only short , but hope it will give you an idea of the types of sights you can find in the lakes.
