what is the best type socks for walking in below freezing temp’s and snow?

what r the best shoes for walking? i walk 4.2 mi a day & wear 2prs socks but i want some real good shoes ?

Can i order them online cheaper if so how do i measure my foot to get the proper size or what would be the best retail outlet for these shoes? My feet still hurt after using 2 prs socks..thanks
